BEST
POSSIBLE MATERIAL PROPERTIES
The lightmetal E39 alloy has the best possible material properties
for wheelhubs applied in rollercoasters. The high elongation before
rupture (>10%) and the possibility to design the hubs so, that
the hubs can resist a high number of load cycles, guarantees safety
during a maximum of years.

PROPERTIES
DO NOT CHANGE
The material properties of the E39 hubs do not change after vulcanising
treads of urethane or similar material. Temperatureload
during vulcanisation has to be <160°C.

GUARANTEED
FOR 10 YEARS
If the E39 wheelhubs will be applied according loadcollectives
known by Eurad Lightmetal Products BV. the material properties
of the lightmetal E39 in our wheelhub design, will be guaranteed
during a period of 10 years after delivery.

MATERIAL
CERTIFICATES AND T.Ü.V. INSPECTION
The lightmetal E39 material properties will be registered on material
certificates specified according EN 10204 - 3.1.C.
The material inspection will be done by T.Ü.V. Germany.
After approval, every wheelhub will be marked with a german TÜV
stamp.

FINITE
ELEMENT METHOD CALCULATIONS
If required the lightmetal E39 rollercoaster wheelhub, can be
calculated for the maximal load, that reaches the E39 hub, through
the plastic tread around the hub circumference.
The calculation is based on the latest fem-system version.

CRITERIA
The lightmetal E39 rollercoaster wheelhubs conform to the following
criteria:
- Infinite new tread lining. (lowering costs)
- High elongation. (maximising safety)
- Highly corrosion resistant.
